Combines leaky R70 hydro

If you pulled one or the other valve body off from center plate you will want to be aware of a needle that needs to be held in place with grease or the like. Otherwise you may get together and find out you have no forward movement. Vasoline is suggested to hold orings in place for assembly. Don't know what oring you had fail but don't think I would worry about it unless it blows another of the proper replacement orings. Good luck

ordered from dealer the proper o seals went to the hydraulic shop today and those did not work held for about 5 min and started to leak again, hope the agco seals work better

If it is indeed the valve block seals you are suspecting (don't know where you mean by compensator port). I want to mention that there are counter sunk allen head plugs that seal up some passageways. The valve block does need to be removed to get at these. I just want to mention you should check to see none of these have come loose enough to cause oring on them to leak. I have seen this much more than any of the seals between valves and center section. Best of luck

NDDAN the book shows the right hand half of the block as the compensator block it is leaking out of the bottom two allen head bolts, dont remember the other plugs you mentioned, i just assumed that the orings sealed the block halves. appreciate the response if there is anything else i'll tell you thanks in advance

OK. We're talking the same area. I just wanted to mention that we had to remove one or the other of them blocks to get at a small plug that had backed out far enought so the oring that sealed plug started pouring oil out. Just in case you hadn't pinpointed leak I wanted you to take note that they were there and that they gave us trouble a few times. Other point I wanted to make is that needle valve but maybe you didn't expose that with the side you took off. Best of luck
