We've run a 480 for three years now and the only downtime to speak of was caused by the feederhouse slipclutch, however a change-up has addressed the problem. Besides that, the air filter was too small and required frequent clean out, but again this has been addressed with a change up. Can't really tell you what they're like to work on because we haven't had to do anything, I find mechanics can be good ones to ask, they tend to be more honest than salesmen. We used to run Gleaners and one thing thats kind of been interesting is that when we used to talk about our Gleaner, we would say oh yeah but its so easy to work on, you can pull the rotor out in 30 min etc., they get sold on their simplicity and one of the knocks against the lexions is their complexity...what I'm getting at is the Gleaner needed to be easy to work on because it was always broke down, the lexion may be complex, but that doesn't matter to me if its not breaking down.
