Big Truck, You may be right that the lexion is the only combine platform that is constant across the markets that it is sold in to, however I believe that Claas needs to accept that one machine setup for Europion conditions will not work to its full capabilities in all parts of the globe unless it is set to the local conditions that it is to work in.

I don t understand why every combine has to be everywhere. After all unlike our creator they are not omnipotent. So what you don t see a JD STS in Ireland. You dont se alot of different equipment that John Deere sells in Europe in America either

I don_t think the top dog himself Helmut Claas is going to sell anything to AGCO anytime soon. As for JD sts they are sold over here but cts and wts are more popular JD combine models.

I agree with you Big Truck. If anything AGCO will be the one that is bought up.

This is very interesting, Big Truck. I believe the lexion has far more potential than it has thus far reached. like another has said, they can [and will] do much better when the CEBIS gets programmed for all the varying crop types_conditions in different regions. Yes, this is possible, as well. So far, the only other "universal" combines I've ever seen were the Massey-Ferguson 760 and Axial-Flows. These were clearly North American made and shipped to places all over Europe, the UK, Australia and maybe even New Zealand.
