Combines long Chaffer Dead Rows

Pete, I am sure what Hyper Harvest is talking about is the longer shoe on the Series 2 combines.As for your 81' N6,you have the chaffer converted correctly. Definitely no dead air spots with this shoe if splitter is still in position and at correct distance from fan.Usually it is just the opposite.(Too much air!)Does this answer your questionIJ Hyper Harvest II

Yes it does, I will add to my checklist to look at the splitter this summer. I am always looking for simple, cost effective ways to improve the capacity and quality of my machine.
