They're hard to Find if at all. As far as know the F's only had a 4 cyl. diesel w_turbo. They did have 6 cyl gaser. The Chevy 292.

All F diesels were 6 cylinder 2800 aka 301cid. The F2 was the advent of the 433I aka 200cid 4 cyl turbo. And my F diesel was a SWEET RUNNER!

First of all I have one wife that is enough thank you. I also have an F Gleaner with the 301 diesel. It is a 75 model and may be for sale over winter. Machine is located 4 miles south of Pa Turnpike Exit 13, mile post 180. I am looking to replace both machines with one larger, newer machine. Heads are 13' rigid, and FG 438 (orange head). I also have an A438 that most likely I would keep to adapt to whatever replacment machine I do find. If I do replace machines the K2 diesel will also be for sale.

don't have a F 6 cyl diesel right now, but do have a mother in law I would trade for the Mrs, sight unseen. My Mil's nickname is Diesel, (kind of loud and noisy, hard to start on cold days, large fuel tank, etc.) does that countIJ

I know where there is a 75 model w_6 cyl diesel in Flemington, NJ. Shed kept, 1250 hours, but probably needs wiring work in cab and new separator clutch disks. Guy wants to sell as is, I was going to buy it but don't have time to work on it. He doesn't have a wife, as far as I know . . . .

If it is like my wife, the F diesel worked harder, complained less, and took less money. And definitely started easier in the morning! My vote goes to the Gleaner being the better deal!

May i suggest posting photo of wife. A picture says a thousand words. Or sometimes like in tbrans mother in law situation the picture might say lessIJ
