I agree, we have tried to get another person on this site for over a year now, and have had no luck.

Maybe you could get more info from the company. Their phone number is 800-549-3289. They priced a new rotor w_o bars for a R55 for $2336. The rotor is enclosed like a CDF but is 25" in diameter so I don't think you'd have to adjust the concave.

Here a couple of operators who own our rotors. Ned Wyse of Camden, MI. (517) 254-4552 and his nephew Johnathan Wyse of West Unity OH. (419) 924- 2406. They operate R62 and R52, respectively. We can provide more references if needed. However, we like to ask our customers in advance if it's OK that they're called. As stated above, our toll free phone -- (800) 549-3289 email sjwelding@stjohnks.net Hope this stuff helps.

No -- We tried staggered bars about 8-9 years ago, and couldn't achieve what we were looking for -- shattered quite a few cobs, small grains weren't threshed well and very fast rotor speeds were required with resultant cleaning shoe problems.

can you comment as to the design. Interesting placement of the cylinder bars as in the old conventional units. Also diameter. lots of questions.

Designed for 6 rows of wide spaced P3 bars set parallel to the rotor centerline cross section (mounted flat). Diameter - 25". We've never installed or required a reverse bar, and replace the discharge paddles with shortened rotor bars. RPM required for feed_carry thru of crop_MOG is much less than with std. rotor or CDF. This is due to diameter of the drum, and use of the leading edges of the bar teeth allowed by flat mounting style. Another operator observed my previous post and invites calls, as well. loren lauck of Bloomfield, NE (402)373-4367 cell -- (402) 841-5236. Thanks, loren.

Addendum: Forgot to mention that we like to add a couple of sweep_agitator paddles to aid in separation and providing movement toward the discharge using the rotor itself instead of only the cage helicals.
