The covers which are called deflectors by Deere are still available. I was in the llocal dealer here this am and had them look it up. It takes four of them and they are $167 each. There are 9 of them in the Stockton wharehouse.
My local dealer said he can get me a set. I talked to a local mechanic that said that the original beater wings are actually spot welder together and that he has never even attemped to remove them. I was really hoping that I could just crawl down in there, unbolt the worn out wings and install the new ones. Is there a easy way to do this or do we have to remove the old one and go with the updated six wing beaterIJ
