Combines low power

So you are very sure there is no hole in wastegate diaphram. A hole in diaphram will steal boost signal from fuel pump aneriod thus reducing fuel availability. Wastegate will stay shut or at max boost until presure gets into the 26-30 psi range if everything is right. That is sufficiant boost for the HP so it starts to waste off the excess exhaust. I think maybe you would be noticeing smoke if wastegate was poorly adjusted. Several fuel boost pumps have failed causing low HP. I slowly pump the hand pump and listen for relief valve squel. If you have to pump fairly quick to get relief to squel you likely have problem in boost pump. You could have Ray pull main pump to have her fine tuned and boosted a bit. Good luck

Is the 99 an electronic engine or is it mechanicalIJ I had power problems on my 98 R62 and did everything from timing to turning the fuel screw a couple of turns. Found out one of the bolts on the lever on the fuel pump had fell out. Runs like a beast now.

'99 is mechanical. Was that bolt out of throttle lever which didn't allow proper high idle no load RPM or would you be talking some other leverIJ Thanks
