Combines lowering seive on R 60

Brian, I had used a round holw sieve years ago and I think we did put the front in a lower hole that was there from factory to do that. I think the sieve worked quite well then. Did have to sweep actoss top with a snow brush occasionally to clean some.

How are your accelerator rollsIJ If they are not throwing the grain into the air blast they are not hitting the landing area thus are not going through the chaffer till the last 1_3 thus the excess tailings. IJ .

Rolls are in good shape...300 hours on them or so. This book I referred to is quite old I was thinking maybe he gave this suggestion while the N's were fairly new. Did the early series N have 2 holes for the front of the sieves like the later modelsIJ

The sieve is mostly out of the main vein of air on the rotors. I have lowered front of sieve on l2s by drilling mount holes and lowering the mid point guide. l2s are definitely in direct air blast. First one I did because the guy couldn't hold crop going up hill. We lowered sieve so he could get more air to chaffer and he said it made all the difference. A few other have did the same with no problems. Maybe you would be better off with standard sieve in your condition.
