remove the beater, remove all fingers, look inside hand hole and remove bolt that holds stub shaft and slightly spread the block, some of the later ones had a shaft with a notch in it so it cannot be split - it must be driven out. Remove stub shaft. Now the fingerless shaft can be removed out the handhole. The end that rotates on the stub shaft can have two different brgs. one has a seal built in the other roller brg HAS to have two seals on each side of brg, lube brg well. Make sure shaft it straight. If not it can be straightend. Mark the timing locations before you remove beater.
