18_25_30_35 tooth sprockets are available for driving the thresher beater. They go on the lH end of the cylinder shaft and drive the thresher beater. Use larger sprockets in tough crops when you are running the cylinder at slow speeds. If I am recalling correctly, we used the 25T sprocket for beans when the cylinder speed was around 500 rpm. For faster cyl speeds, we used the 18tooth. Maybe someone else will comment on grain_grass crops as we are mostly into corn and beans. But I think you are more than likely running your cylinder around 1000 rpms, which dictates the 18t sprocket. Tom in MN
