Combines M H Self Propelled Clipper

Neighbors used to use pull type MH clippers back in the 50's. Things that stick in my brain is that drapers were a headache. liked to stick and not run. Seems like they had no upper draper to feed the grain into the combine which could be a problem. They used the clean grain elevator to unload the grain tank by shifting a valve somehow at the bottom of the tank, and it was pretty slow. The engine on the SP's was buried under the combine like many others of its day. The were sold on the idea that a "straight through" combine design was best, and the cylinder was about 5' wide as was the straw rack. This is all from a long time ago. I know where one of those old SP clippers is sitting too, but I think it is beyond hope.
