It's more likely that the injection pump is putting the fuel in the oil pan via the drive gear seal,,,,, you can take the pump to a service center and they will be able tell right away when they put it on the test stand..... if they do neeed to rebuild your pump go ahead and do the injectors also it will cost more but it will make a difference

I called our local injection pump rebuilder today and he told me the same thing, that the seal on the end of the shaft is leaking. We just had the injector pump rebuilt by this same place last winter so now I'm just wondering if it was leaking before we rebuilt the pump and we just didn't pick up on it. I appreciate your help, I think I might try running the engine some more and see what happens.
