Combines M2 Engine Question

you may need to adjust the high idle rpm stop. Takes two 5_16 wrenches. losen the long stop nut then turn in to lower RPM. 2400Rpm is rated load on M2 high idle is just under 2600. Analog tachs are not really that accurate, digital ones are better but can vary 100 rpm easily. You can have this checked by a hand held unit if in doubt.

We have the digital Tach and it reads 2600rpms all the time it never loads up in grain I've ran 5 plus mph in heavy corn and it doesn't even phase this machine. I don't know if that's normal but I know we like it. Thanks for your input. Curt
