There should be a left and right access plate, Are the bearings and rod holders worn outIJ If so replacement would be needed. Also every finger I had ever replaced was set in with thread locker, would seem very hard to get the broked stud out and to do it you would need to pull the guts out of the can, to do that means pulling out the whole thing. I went to rebuild one about 4 years ago, buying a new camshaft, bearings, fingers and holders and wear guides for the can was about $800 from agco, they offered a new complete unit for $1000, I optioned for the new unit and have the old one for fingers and guides if needed. I am wondering if the camshaft in your auger has moved and striking the back fingers......Good luck

To get the studs out take the guides off. Than weld a nut on the stud (i think i used 1_2") and they will turn right out when they are hot. The locktite will come lose when heated. You may need a ark welder to reach through the hole. Once you learn how to do it you can get the broken parts out in a hurry.
