You don't have to remove the return elevator.The unloader drive pulley is threaded into the main shaft.Door tool fits in the pulley and hit with a hammer will usually loosen.

Is it right or left hand threadsIJIJIJ

If I'm thinking right it is lEFT hand.Check direction of rotation.The pulley should try to tighten itself when pulling load.
