Combines M2 Steering cylinder

Would a second cylinder merely cover up other problemsIJ I ran an M2 for many years and was happy with the steering. Before adding a second cylinder, I would look at proper hydraulic flow and pressure. Do you regularly change fluid and filterIJ How is the intake screen in your tankIJ How are the bearings between your axle and spindleIJ I am definitely not an expert on M2 steering and perhaps I had the only one that steered well. I'm with you. A second cyl will slow cycle time. Twin cyls are both ONE WAY units on many units. This balances out the diff. cubic inch displacements that cause drift and more turns to one direction than other. Ever see a steering cyl on a xx66 intenational harvesterIJ same deal. Too bad they didn't put as much engineering into the rest of the front ax.!
