E-mail me if you're trying to sell it. Either myself or a dealer I know might have an interest in making you an offer. I've seen M2 and M3 sell for anywhere from $5000 to $30,000, (in the last year) depending on condition and options. Our dealer has an excellent l3 w_1200 hrs. He's asking $30,000 for it, and probably will get that. Dairyman--NE Iowa

I guess I'm just wondering what it is worth. The way prices are I probably won't do anything this year anyway. Just dreaming. I really like the machine, it's just a real pain to get parts. I'd just like some idea what else I can get for close to the same money.

remembering a comment from a customer a few years ago. The dealer 40 miles away went out and he had to drive two hours to get parts. (His neighbor traded for a Deere because of this.) The M2's hydraulic pump belt and idler needed replacing so he had to make the 2.5 hour (talked and complained half hour here) drive, get back home and replace the belt and idler (.5hours) and shell a load of corn. At the elevator he met his neighbor who pulled in line behind him. His neighbor had just had to replace the Deere hydraulic pump belt! Neighbor told him took two of them 2 hours plus the half hour to the local dealer. Customer called back and apologized for comments and said he had much rather ride in air cond pickup than spend the same amount or longer time pulling dirty wrenches!

I understand your point. like I said I really like the machine. I have two problems with it. It is next to impossible to locate a flex platform for it, in this area. Then parts. If the dealer would stock more common parts it would help. last fall, it took them a week to get oil seals for the lift cylinders.

Parts seem readily available,neighbors got one with that hr range,still a good machine.Check for coolant in oil though,heads were noted to have cracks after lots of hrs.

We run a 76M and a 83l2 and the parts seem to be easily found because there were a lot of those machines manufactured. They are reliable if you keep them up. This should be a good machine... Always check the thrashing bars for wear. the monitoring system in those series is good. Good luck

what about runninng thousand's of hours on the engine I understand that the engine is same ac 7060 AllIS 429

The l seies could have the 426 most did,strong engine,A very few of the last M-3's could have a426,this would be only the 87 model year.
