Combines MacDon Flex draper

Probably cost about the same. Crary will take more power to run. 1 HP per ft of width.

Works OK on semi level ground but so does a honeybee and cost a lot less. Also rumor is honeebee is building a true flex draper not a hinge draper like the macdon

I rode with my neighbor who was running the flex Macdon on a new Deere combine and I was not impressed at all. It is not a flex head but rather a hinged affair with 10 12 and 14 foot sections and it certainly did not cut as close as any flex head I have ever seen. I did like the looks of the reel and the teeth that it uses.

Neighbor cut some soys for us last year with the so called FlEX draper, never again! Get a true flexhead you can cut alot closer!

What makes you thnk Gleaneer don't have a 35' head they got a 36' head. Not bad heads either

I have never seen a flex draper that I didn't like, my guess is that the one that you guys seen was not set properly. 99% of the problems are the result of a machine not set-up properly either by the customer or the dealer. I am not trying to start a fight on here but I have been very impressed with the ones that I have run.
