Not sure if they are cheaper,but I wouldnt trade the flex draper,for the flex head with the air reel if the draper is 20% more IG

The draper may cost more but I really believe you have less harvest loss. Add an air reel and I bet the cost is almost the same. Almost zero shatter as you have no auger grinding away on the soybeans. Tough soybeans aren't roped together. Wheat feeds in head first for better threshing. Hydraulic tilt adjustment allows you to change cut height for rocks, ruts, etc. Buy a draper and you'll never go back.
