Is Mrs Red going to like having Combine Part all over the garageIJ -) Sounds like you found a great project. The 292 is a nice motor for that size of Combine. Dad ran a Gleaner F with one in it for several years. If I remember right he had a little trouble with the plugs in it. He only cussed it because at was a Chevy. He's Always been a Ford Man. Good luck with that 4400 project. BTW did you pass on the old GleanerIJ I know you've been around Deere's more. So the 4400 will make a better project. But, did you ever find out if the owner of the old E would let it goIJ

No I have not had time to run out the farm to ask. He is the type you really need to talk to in person. Hope to fire the beast Wednesday afternoon. The weeded lot is now bush hogged so I can get it out.

Thanks G.M. I will be taking lots of digital shots. I shot 80 when I restored Corey's 1951 Farmall H. Hope to fire her on Wednesday. Got real busy in the office and haven't had time to mess with it. The heavily weeded lot is now bush hogged so I can drive her out. Do either of you gents know the weight of the machineIJ If I break down driving home, can I pull it backwards with a chain around the rear axleIJ

Thank you Joe! I will keep you all posted on "Corey's Combine". She turns 7 tomorrow and has decided the combine is her birthday present.
