Oz, Cat are not selling huge here in Queensland then again all makes seem to be a little slow although our local N.H. dealer has sold 3 TR99s in the last couple of weeks .The season was not great here so as usual the finance co's and banks have a good selection on hand to choose from.johnboy

I don't remember the exact numbers for here in the U.S., but it was something like Deere with 50%, CIH with 30%, NH and Gleaner each with about 10% and the rest with small amounts. I tend to think that Gleaner edges out NH by a little. I'm sure I'm off a bit on these numbers, but I should be in the ballpark. Now, if you want to know what the population WISHES they were running, just take a look at the hit counters on each board - especially ours! With a measly little 10 or 11%, why do we hang right in there with the red and green guys in hitsIJ

With a measly little 10 or 11%, why do we hang right in there with the red and green guys in hitsIJ The answer is simple. The guys on this page can write a message without getting help from someone else. Tom in MN

Hey Pedro,do you think that the Case outsell the Deere in Qld. You guys should really take to the new yellow plastic banana(new CNH,check photo's on New Holland site) when it arrives.Sorry Pedro had to throw that in (local Aussie joke). The season was not to flash here in the West this year either.

It's ok oz us banana-benders know how envious the rest of the world of our lifestyle(palm trees, sandy beaches no snow)are. Are Deere outselling Case here,up untill last year Case was well ahead but with the introduction of the sts's and that Deere was offering huge trade-in prices they sold a lot of machines that were preordered. A lot of people had to take the combines even though the crops were lousy.Dalby has big Case,Deere New Holland dealers ,Agco dealer is smaller so service is usually not a hassel. New Holland is a big seller here as the dealer sends a service truck with the contractors that follow the harvest south. johnboy

Tell you what - I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the same group will be here next month too. I'll save you the drudgery of having to check in on us just to look for new names - if someone new posts here, or if any of us regulars leave, I'll send you an email letting you know so you can log it in your little book. In the meantime, feel free to avoid the disappointment of not finding anything out of the ordinary on this forum and keep yourself confined to the lonely Massey board. BTW, I check in here about every morning and evening. Sometimes only in the morning, sometimes only in the evening. Occasionally, but not always, in the afternoon. I have been known to log on in the late morning, but rarely. One day I didn't check in at all. Sometimes I'm on here so late that one day runs into the next day - but if I do that, I'm too tired to check in later that day and wait 'til the next day and log in three times to make up for missing a time the previous day. I might have checked in here four times one day, but I doubt it. Anything is possible though. One thing you can be certain of is I won't be one here between 5 and 7 AM and PM any day. We milk cows during those times - every day. So if you see a post from me during those times some day, you'll know it's a very unusual day. Are you getting all thisIJ See you tomorrow, or maybe later today. Have a nice day! Tom langan
