Tell us why the Marlins impellers are better than the OEM impeller blades and on which crops they work best.

I was wondering how the Marlin blades will work in combines that do corn and soybeans. Is there any gain in corn by using themIJ

I have a customer at our dealership with a 1978 1480 with standard rotor. He removed the rotor to have balanced. While it was removed,he considered different ways to make his rotor handle green stem beans and get rid of rotor rumble. He considered some very costly options. I called the inventor of the Marlin ears and he explained them in detail to me. I then told my customer of my findings. He was to say the least very skeptical! He called Marlin himself. After talking to Marlin,we ordered a set for him. He had been running 2 ears instead 4 previosly so he installed the 2 new Marlin ears and changed nothing else in the threshing system. I know for a fact the concaves are worn and the rotor bars are also. In our area in NE Ill,green bean stems were a problem. After running some 200 acres of these nasty beans,he said the Marlin ears made it seem as if it was not the same machine. He told me just this week after doing all his beans and some corn that the Marlin ears are even better than the inventor says. He also told me he has had axial flows for 25 years and never has he had one that runs this great and all he did was have the rotor balanced and install the Marlins. Thanks for letting me share this on this great forum.
