I worked with the introduction of the Fendt combine in Germany. In terms of threshing, seperation and cleaning systems, there are no differences at all between Fendt and MF combines. The Deutz engine in Fendt is controlled by computer (EMR),wich means the engine has a very high torque at working revolutions. The combine is controlled by the Fieldstar terminal, there are hardly any pushbuttons left in the cab. From operators point of wiev, it is a exellent machine, easy to operate and many clever features. The electronic header controls is not always working fast enough to cope with the high harvesting speed.
