Where did you get this informationIJ Just wondering because I have heard that NH's market share and JD's market share was up too and I don't see everybodys market share could be up.
My daughter is selling Massey combines for FFA sales contest. The dealer here put her in touch with Massey combine people.They also had some numbers on comparing repair cost.1000 hour combines repaired at the dealer.JD rotory 12 to 16000,CIH 8 to 12000,MF 4 to 5000.
Not exactly unbiased information. The way I heard it was JD's market share was in the 60s and CIH's was in the 30s. Not saying I am right either but hearing market shares from each company doesn't it make it gold. Is there any other way to find out market share from an independant source. One last question, if you ordered a MF combine right now, when would you recieve it.
I was thinking about renting an STS this year to see how they perform but the 2 closest dealers didn't have any left and they said if they ordered one now, it wouldn't come until October which by that time harvest would be done. This was in march when I was asking about renting a combine.
WE WERE OFFERED A DEMO lAST YEAR FROM OUR lOCAl DEAlER. THEY HAD TWO 9790'S lAST YEAR AND lOST THEM BOTH TO OTHER DEAlERS WHO HAD THEM SOlD. HE WAS NOT ABlE TO GET ANOTHER FOR HARVEST AND IS STIll WAITING FOR THIS YEARS MACHINES TO COME IN.
