Combines Massey swathers

Massey 220s are the swather of choice around me, I have a 1998, 220..with 900hrs...the new style 9000 swather is replacing the 220s, I have heard nothing but good things about the new ones....My area is dominated by Deere equipment except for the Massey swathers and now the combines are becoming a more common sight....

Currently running two 97 220 swathers,one has 2900 hours the other has around 700.They look and run like the first day I got them.

Hey rockford,we have a 9420 and like it .I would lean towards the higher horse power machine if you have hills of any sort.We had just minor problems with our machine ,but our dealer been great to deal with.

All of my land is flat so I think power should not be an issue. I have heard the 9420 use a bit more fuel than the 9220 so that is why I am leaning toward the smaller swather.
