rooster, whoever our got your info from was off by far on the MF combines. in my area of central illinois at our dealer in chrisman ill i think he sold 3-4 new combines last year alone if not more just the number of people that i know that buys a new combine each year and i know there was more that 3-4 new ones that he sold. well kuhns stores in ill buenings in effingham, a store in i think newton don't hold me to that one but on is in the south part with a case ih dealer, and one in kokomo ind, and in pylvia ind, and that right there was more that 11 combines total, in the lil area that i know of and that i see in the fastlines. i think you need to go back to the cat talk and yap to them or go to deere website and yack to them bout all your lies. but make sure u get your facts straight before you go there not unlike you did here. allen

I'm not sure why Massey still makes combines its obvious that Gleaner is the dominant combine of AGCO. BUT i don't think we need to turn this site into a Massey or Gleaner or any other color bashing page. I know I have done my share of bashing but it all needs to stop. This page is for those of us who still run the old Massey's and have problems, just like the other pages are for other farmers who run different machines, so let's help each other and quit this useless bickering. Thanks, Jared Roffers

here in Europe, we don't have Gleaner combine,I have never seen one of them. Massey build conventionnal combine with rotary separator and straw walker. There are built by Dronninborg (DANEMARK) which was owned by AGCO a few years ago. PS Dronninborg build also the new FENDT combines and the little DEUTZ FAHR. herv HERE

Your numbers are going to get eaten up very fast! Central IA dealer sells both Massey and Gleaner and sold 3 Massey and 10 Gleaner last season. With Allen's numbers and mine that is over half the Massey production in 2 small areas. And Massey is not prevailent in this area as it is in some. Best get the hard facts!

Yes, i heard that AGCO build the Deutz-Fahr combines. What models are build in DronninborgIJ AGCO builds the Deutz Fahr combines and Same-Deutz Fahr build the small Massey-Fergusson tractors in Italy.

Allen, I live about 5 miles from Newton. And I know they havent sold a new Massey in a long time. They sell the Case combine One thing you have to remember is he is talking production numbers ,and you guys are talking combines that were sold that were new. Im sure a lot of those combines could have been from other dealers or Demenstrators. I know the Gleaner dealer here sold a combine this spring and is still looking for the rest of the bean head to come in by Aug. 30 .I dont think Agco would have made much more then 400 combines in a year with the move and all. That would be 8 a week . How many can they make a weekIJ Illinois Gleaner

these combine well all BRAND NEW ones that they sold. when we went to the factory tour in june in hesston kansas they could make 4 a day at that but he said it would go up but he sais some of them were new to making combines, plus were still trying to get out all bugs and kinks out of the line. he never did say what their goal was to be. but i'll agree with the move and all yes i could very well believe 400 total but they moved from one factory to another one but i think 400 total combines is a little low though and 11 MF combines that is just plain a lie from the get go.

Deerebine, Red must sell more often than green does now! I can see the main path across IA for the Deere and CIH, called I-80. And I see 5 CIH to every Deere coming out of Moline. What's UpIJ
