Combines Maurer bin extension question

I just hung a short piece of small chain with a hook on it from the extention, to hold the engine compartment door open.

on my mf 8780 i just drilled a new hole for the rod, ed

cut a new slot in the slide, mark it while holding door up against the topper then tarp strap it up and notch it w_ a sawzall.
