Hello there, jus some information for you on the planter scenario. A couple years back my cousin had a 10 row narrow and stepped up to a 12 row narrow vac. When planting time came and he had both planters yet and decided to plant the same qtr with both planters 1 from each side. After the corn came up, there was no comparison whatsoever between the 2. The vac planter had a way better stand and emergence. He was very glad in his decision, because prior to that he was not sure the vac was worth the price over the finger pickup system. I am sure you will be also..go with the vac.

We have a Monosem that we use for corn, beans, and coriandor seed. I really like the vacuum system because there is so little to go wrong once it is set up. The only disadvantage we have ever had is that we can't plant when it is raining because the seed sticks to the seed plates when they get wet.
