It has a dry clutch. It has an eight speed unsyncronised tranny with a single speed power shift for 16 forward gears. It has a mechanical forward_reverse shuttle but you will have to come to a complete stop to change directions. The cab is the same as the 2000 series, left side is all door, late models have door on right side as well. Not too bad for noise, but not as nice as the 3100 series. We had a 3525 MFWD model was an excellent tractor only money spent on it was a new clutch at 2800 hours. The older models 82,83,84's you had to change the whole clutch slave cylinder to change the release bearing. If it has been changed already the update has a replaceable bearing setup. Not a bad tractor. Totally different than a 2000 series.
