Combines MF 5650 Combine

I have some brochures on it and I believe they were built in South America. Nothing was built after Brantford plant shut down - everything was sold at auction. Many machines had been vandalized by employees during the salary disputes. Great loss to our combine options when the MF700 and 800 series were shut down. Good basic combines that performed well, were built well, and easy to repair. Would be good to see it revived for smaller farms, but not too many of them left compared to the 80's.

The 5650 is one of the combines produced in Brazil, Mf and Agco's combine plant for South America. They were based on combines built in Europe as smaller combines in Germany and France from 1969 or earlier. later the 5650 and two other models with about 42 and 32 inch cylinders were also built for South America and some other countries. The two larger combines are now updated and still built in Brazil along with bigger combines of Dronningborg design, the earlier european design now replaced by the Cerea series. Check out www.massey.com.br_espanhol_default.asp and click on productos (cosechadoras). You can still see the updated version.
