Combines MF 9320 header

Our 1992 8570 that we got used has a MF 9222 head on it, it is a White rigid head.

We have been running one since they came out on the White rotor and like it real well.

Have you had any problems with the leaf springs that help with the flotation on the cutterbarIJHave a 9320 and 9322 have had problems with both. On the 20 footer we set it in the locked up position for wheat and sorghum and leave it their, and use the 22 for beans. Put about 4 new units on this fall and have more to fix before next fall.

There was a service bulletin on the springs, that said to replace the short spring with a long spring to keep stubble from catching in the springs and breaking them. I will break a spring leaf once in a while. but it has not been much of a problem. The hardest thing on the springs is when you have to run on frozen ground. That might be the case this year as we haven't cut a bean yet, maybe give it a try this afternoon, but I doubt the ground will hold us up.

I believe ours are already like that, top and bottom spring in the assembly are same length. Where are you atIJ Got lucky here right after election day and had a little over a week of good weather, managed to get about 40 to 50 acres a day in. On the last 47 acres our cousin was in the neighborhood with his 1660 and had him work on the muck and some of the softer areas since he had his duals on. Sure felt bad about both of us running 22 foot heads and lapping him once in awhile, tried not to do it to often, didn't want him to get p-ssed off and go home before we got it done!!!

I am in SE Ks, we mudded out about 60 acres of notill beans this afternoon.

We got about 40 acres of corn out today, 45 yesterday, and 60 Friday. Would have to add it up but should be under 200 now. Have at least one guy around here that still has at least a hundred acres of beans out yet. When the weather turned diasagreeable he started picking corn and did't stop untill was done. Hopefully the weather cooperates and we should be done before end of week.

We have around 800 acres of beans in the field, most of the beans we plant around here are mid group 5's. We harvested corn and milo in late August and early Sep. I would guess 75% of the beans are still in the field here.

Your in S.E. KansasIJ Your weather must have started getting bad well before ours did. We actually had quite a dry period thru most of September and October. November wasn't bad, untill the day before thanksgiving rained all day then turned to snow, lost almost 10 days, picked for 2 1_2 then rained today. Really like it when can get done without even engaging the rear drive hubs on the 9700.
