I run a 9850 flex that originally had the 1.5 inch qwik cut on it. When it was in need of a complete rebuild, I went to the SCH sysrem. I don't think it cut as close as the qwik cut did. Its a good system, very easy to use and never break anything, but I am going back to the qwik cut with crary hold downs to try and get a cleaner cut. Some have flipped the SCH completely upside down and gained considerably on their cut height, but if you have rocks, I hear it can really scoop them up that way. I never tried that, as I have a lot of stones in my area. I pitched my sickle down and took all the pressure off my float springs (at the expense of the poly underneath) to try to get closer, it helped, but still not to my satisfaction. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
