We just traded in a 8460. I think they are a very good combine. Capacity in oats, barley, and wheat is probably equal or better that a 9600. In canola I feel the 9600 has more capacity. Overall they are very close. The 8460, with the inline six is very fuel efficient. The cab on a 9600 is a better cab, but a 8460's is not bad. If you have a good dealer, the 8460 is probably a good bet.
