start out w_o changing anything. Just as in any crop run the cyl as fast as possible w_o cracking. Remember speed cracks. Use clearance to get shelled out of head. Again on a G wheat and Milo will be close. If you have trouble getting out of head wo cracking add more concave channel bars. We used to use a kit called concave rasp bars on corn and milo but that was not necessary just an upgrade to give more capacity. Milo losses usually run higher than other crops. If you have green leaves remember if you dip down to get that low head and scoop up a header full of green stuff you will probably lose more than if you left that little low growing rascal still in the field.
