We have a 76l. look for wear in the usual areas: cylinder bars, concave, raddle floors, knives in chopper, header bottom, all fligting on augers. A weak spot on these was the rear axle where it pivots. look for cracking, or if already been repaired look at quality of repair job. Also check bin bottom and collar on folding auger. Another area to really look hard at is the grain floor below the walkers. Maker sure all welds on its frame look good. I've seen alot of these that have been patched up. On engine just listen for missing etc. look for leaks. Best way to check hydro is run it. If owner is not around run it hard (accelerate hard and stop hard). Again listen to it and look for leaks. l's are bullet proof machines! Good luck!
