Glad to here things are going well I'm in the mist of doing the mod's on some machine's and am tired of my salesman telling me Im nut's I think I will print your post and give it to him. I've told him to get on this site and learn something but I guess he would rather listen to complaint's of rotor rumblings and no power!!! Tim Brodbeck

Agco better wise up soon and start listening to the Hyper's, Dan, Tbran etc... or your salesman is not going to have a job. My dealer looked at me like I was nuts when I upgraded my N6 last year. The proof is in the performance though, more capacity, cleaner grain sample, less rotor loss equals more $'s in my pocket.

Just get that salesman into a modified machine and then he'll think your the smartest guy around.Note, we did one thing a little different this year than last (We can't leave anything alone). Instead of using low bars on every other row of cylinder bars in sep. side we just left those four rows blank. Works great. I can't compare the results to one with low bars in for this season but so far after many counts the highest rotor loss I've found is 1_6 bu_acre in soybeans. Good luck!

Amen Pete. I can certainly understand why they maybe skeptical of these mods at first, I was too. But come on, they have had ample time to test these ideas and prove that they work. Finally, they came with extended cylinder bar kits but many dealers that I've talked with don't know that they exist. That may be partially their own fault but get those reps. out their pounding this stuff into their heads. Agco will continue to lose market share not because they can't build good equipment, but rather they are an inferior company to the likes of Fiat, JD etc... Case in point: a factory R-62 is twice the machine a 9610 is but I now of several that have been traded for the JD.

I`m running a new R-62 this year. I did the mods as shone on the tips page here. WOW!! I`m combining corn thats running in the 180 bu. range. I run about 5.5 mi. an hr. with an 8 row narrow head. I look behind the machine and there`s no corn on the ground! My last R-62 sucked! I wasn`t impressed by it at all. It would pull down running 3.5 when i tryed to unload on the go.My dealer helped me modify this machine. I garantee you every machine they sell from now on will have the mods done to it! Steelrider
