Hi Curly, Sorry for the late responce. I think everyone got a bit busy to respond. You may want to check with the Shelborn people to be sure head is properly set up to work with Gleaner. Feeder on '97 machine should allready have shocks but I would recommend installing rock door hump also for use with stripper head. I don't know anything about Millet. If thresher concave is plugging with corn cobs it must be narrow low wire grate. Maybe it is just the front half of thresher concave that narrow low wire and you would have to remove every other wire to prevent the plugging. More important though would be to remove every other wire from seperator grate to prevent it from plugging. I have played with various settings on seperator grate and find in our conditions that it is just left on n9 or concentric with the rest of cage. Be sure to get you cylinder bars extended to discharge if they are not allready and I would suggest to replace reverse with half height bars. Extend third helical from gearbox over corner of feeder opening and extend a helical or two into discharge a bit. Are you in sugar beet country with the 22" corn rowsIJ Dan
