First check the 5amp fuse, n35 in the fuse panel area. Its common for the fuse to blow. Next when you engage the seperator the little auger should run for 35 seconds, then shut off. The way to check the proxemity switch is; seperator still engaged, remove the moisture sensor and look into the trough area, towards the top you will see the prox. eye, now CAREFUllY put 2-3 fingers in front of it, (simulating it full of grain) the auger should start to run. if it does not, then prox. switch will need to be adjusted.
