Combines More AFS questions

I know of 3 choices you may have: 1- Case AFS software, from your dealer or 1-800-CASEAFS (poor support) 2- Agleaders SIMS software, at www.agleader.com (about $600). 3- Farmworks Farm Site software.www.farmworks.com I think any of these will work for you. Case AFS is hard to get support.

Also if you have the older style yield monitor and SRAM Cards, you will need a SRAM card reader for your computor to be able to read the card. these are getting hard to come by. If you have any more questions I'll try to help you.

Brad, Unless you had a GPS receiver and a card plugged in the yield monitor as you harvested I don't think there is any data to retrieve.

You will not have any GPS data or maps, but you will have all of the summary information available. On an Ag leader, you can connect the monitor to your computer by the serial port, and use the free version of the SMS Basic software to download the data. You can also get the appropriate type of data card, and download the data to it. You'll need a card reader on your computer to download the data this way. The SMS Basic software will work fine with your AFS monitor.

You can get a free copy of Ag leader SMS so that you can try the software before you buy it. I have it and it's very good and simple to use.
