It is all a matter of personal issues. Different people vent frustration in different ways. Some look at the bottom line, some look at personalities, who knows what makes one trigger decisions they do. One thing is always present, we all rationalize our decisions. We have to live with ourselves - thus we justify our actions. Some understand this, some never will. Your remark 'Capitolism' is dead on target.
