Combines more down time

I feel better today. Shop forman came out this morning and got us running. I love the capacity of the 75 with CDF rotor, 8R30 is not enough head for it. Does any one have thoughts on keeping corn leaves out of the shoe. Shopforman said to leave the tailboard unlatched and that would leave a gap for them to blow out. I would rather not get them in there in the first place.

'07's have leaf screen similiar to machines prior to 65 and 75's. You should have dealer check bulliton ASAP. I'm sorry to hear of your trouble. We did catch a couple of problems you had on a couple machines at predelivery. Thanks to techvan tips and experience we avoided any of these problems. I wouldn't know where to put blame but the dealers shouldn't have to figure out how much grease the varibles need before they can be greased normally by end user, they shouldn't have to add proper amounts of quality tie wraps to hold seperator clutch wires in place, and shouldn't have to reposition hydro lines to clear idler. I hear the highest man at AGCO was just at plant addressing these issues. Some of this should be taken care of at plants predilivery center but even more on the assembly line. Even the finest design can be no good if lube doesn't start out at proper level or someone stops short of using enough high quality two bit tie wraps. I see how this can really tick a guy off. Best of luck in the future.

Had the same problem. was told to remove (cut out) the last row of fingers on the top sieve. It solved the problem, leaves blow right out now. I thought cobs would fall right in this opening, but it don't happen. good luck
