Well, I had this dilemma once on an early model 8820 and I don't know if it's what is wrong with yours but darn sure look. I was cutting several years back for a college buddy and I told him I felt a heck of a shake and what almost sounded like a grinding. ON the right side of the machine there are two big bolts that hold the bearing assembly in place for the cylinder. Those two bolts fell out and dropped that cylinder on the concaves and did I ever make one hell of a mess of things. The other thing that comes to mind and I find it odd that it only happens any time over 4mph is if you have a severe buildup of chaff or dust on one part of the pulley on the right side and it's throwing that out of balance and making your rythmic shaking. Whatever it is it's something that only happens when you start to force more material through. Give those bolts a check and give a report back. I sure was sick how much I tore things up that day. Good luck Deerebines

I appreciate your help, but i couldnt find a shaft sensor anywhere near the straw spreaders. I'm thinking its something electrical because when i turn the light on and then back off the alarm and the light go back off!! But i still cant find the sensor for the spreaders (choppers) OH and ive got another problem........i have the monitor set perfectly (to my specs. anyway) and i'll be driving along and it will read in the green where it is supposed to and all the sudden it will peg-out, and then drop all the way back down no matter what speed you go, ive tried running everywhere between 1 and 8 mph and i cant get the needle to even move. like i said MORE PROBlEMS

We have the same problem with our 8820 in milo - turns out, it's just when a lot of dust or chaff builds up in the concave. It throws it off balance, and the cab shakes like crazy. A simple way that usually seems to work is to engage the machine to full throttle, then pull it out of gear. let the machine come to a complete rest and repeat. Usually the second time will clear things up fine. Good luck!
