Combines Most Hours

One man I know has 2 6620s and I am sure they have at least 6000+ hours apiece.

I have a customer with a 9500 1989 model 6500 engine hours, still doing a lot of work with this unit and very reliable. Tells you something!!!

I know of at least 3 early 7720s that were traded in locally with over 7000 hours.

only got about 4500 on the 9600, neighbor just retired one of his 7700s with 8350 hours on the machine.

I think this goes it show all machines will last a long time if they are serviced well each year if course anyone that thinks that all they have to do is get the combine out of the shed put in fuel and grease it at the beginning of the year is going to have trouble some time unless they purchase a neew machine every year.

wow here is the reverse we have an early 70's 4400 with under 700 hrs. -M.

I post before this answer in a lot of forums. looks like the combines don't make a lot of hours in America. Here are my numbers... My '82 Deutz M2680 - is now 13000 hours, and still working. Notice we only cut 300 hours a year in the last 5 years. Neighbor '84 Deutz 1600 - He traded this machine two years ago at 15000 hours but she's still combining. Neighbor '88 John Deere 1074 - 10000 hours on the clock. Here in catalunya (spain) the combines ase usually changed at 10000-12000 hours.
