If you are installing an engine with higher RPM on your combine than the original engine and using the same size engine main belt pulley it would affect your transmision speed some what. If it is a hydro trans you may not notice quite as much difference in speed but it should be higher I would try it and see what you think of the difference in ground speed. Your separator and cylinder speed will be different also. I would say talk to a dealer and go by factory specifications for pulley sizes. I hope that I have helped a little bit.

This is a bolt on swap if you take the entire 'pod' off and swap it as well as the drive belts. The pulleys are diff size so that will take care of the RPM. We have swapped a F diesel into a F2 Gas. This was quite a job , but doable.
