The made-for-TV movie was a joke - If you really want to see a quality film on the custom run, then try to find a copy of "Yellow Trails From Texas" (circa 1976 - BBC) or "The Harvest Run"(circa 1979 - Kansas Public TV)

The American Harvest may not have much of a plot but I wouldn't mind watching it again. I remember how impressive those JD "new" combines were compared to the "old" junkers they started with. The Two Thousand Mile Harvest with Dylan Winter is pretty good. It's about Scott and linda Payne's harvest from Munday ,Texas, to lethbridge, Alberta. Five months with the 10 combine crew from Imperial Nebraska. The tape is distributed by Diamond Farm Enterprises, Box 537, Alexandria Bay, New York 13607 or www.diamondfarm.com or 1.800.481.1353This is one of the BEST birthday presents I have ever received. I was wondering if anyone has worked with or knows the Payne familyIJ

Thanks for helping me with the names of the movies. I am going to try and find them all. I just love everything about combines and harvesting. I cannot hardley wait to get back in the field. Just something about the smell of grain being cut, I guess it gets in your blood.
