Mushrooms!

Little mushrooms are popping up everywhere in our flower garden. To me that just means that the soil is too wet. Flowers look good but the mushrooms have to go. Anyone else had this problem?

Yes! It has been really rainy here too. I just smush the mushrooms with my foot. I don't want them growing in the flowers.

Someday maybe I'll try to grow edible mushrooms.

You can expect more mushrooms in the following days since it's been raining again. Thankfully they're a harmless bunch, but you can get rid of it with soap if you're bothered by their appearance.

I hate that too. They seem impossible to get rid of. We try to remove them as quickly as we see them and when it gets real bad, we figure it's time to add some nitrogen to the soil.
