we call them varible Hp they stand as much as any of them much better value than buying a bigger one just got a 210 and we'll adjust her when she needs it we've had them a @ 300 easy
WE have a MX200 and it was perfect till we bought a brand new 16_31 Planter and ahh need more HP so the dealer is turning it up for us i think just an extra 40-50 hp that should be enuff for us im not sure if i remember this right but i think they didn't want to go over the 250hp range
How do you go about turning one upIJ Havent bought the tractor yet but it is priced so much cheaper than a bigger unit and with duals all around should handle more hp
just a p pump on it any good pump guy can tweek it for you. only problem we have seen is the front axles. smaller planetary's on the 200's you can order the larger ones on the newer tractors. we never go much over 230. we have one that gets a avalance cart in the fall though that needs all it can stand.
our mx200 has no problems pulling 30' air cart with 230bu. air tank, and 32' roller...hills included, although had too back down a few. take fuel pump cover plate off too adjust fuel for more Hp.
