ok...my 1440 is really done now! went out this morning, tried to start it, batteries were to low, went to town, bought 2 new batteries, as these were always going low. $168.00. had the new valve cover gasket replaced. (ain't got the bill for that yet! topped off the oil level. hit the starter...started right up!! running fine, let it warm up, went to finish my 2 rounds of soybeans, went about 300 foot and the engine blew up!!..there's a hole in the side of the block you can push a softball thru...it hasn't been a very good day today. don't know whether to go look for another combine, rent one, or pull my old gleaner out of the trees and start over!! oh yeah...my bin is almost full of beans, anyone think of an easy way of unloading themIJ can i somehow hook up a hyd hose to my tractor to unloadIJ and what do i have to do to pull the combine back to the place without ruining the hydroIJ any ideasIJ thanks!!
