Combines N 5 straw chopper

I wouldn't remove hammers. I would suggest this: Take a look at how open the back of chopper is on newer machines. If you open yours up like that and then install heavy second wall to top of discharge you will likely dramatically reduce banging on back wall. Good luck

Thanks Dan, I thought about putting a 1_4 plate for the back wall. Or I have a N-5 that burnt that has a impellar in it instead of a chopper, and I may put it in and take the chopper out.
